About

I’m Erin Sullivan, a 23-year-old, award-winning and published graphic designer that is fresh out of college. I currently live in Ypsilanti, Michigan but I will be moving to Hamilton, Ohio by the end of May. I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Eastern Michigan University on April 25th. With this degree I am now taking the next step in life: finding a full-time job.

I started my graphic design career back in 2007 with a one-man company called Spring Street Media. There, I designed graphics for MySpace profile themes. Two months later, I landed a part-time job as a graphic designer for the Eastern Michigan University Student Center: Marketing Department and have worked with them until I graduated. I also landed a freelance graphic design position with a company called Daddy Design. This position continues to develop my skills of customizing MySpace layouts and overall web design. On top of these two jobs, I also worked as a part-time web designer for Eastern Michigan University’s Cellar Roots until graduation.

The combination of my work and school experiences has shaped me into someone with considerable skills in the areas of print design, web design and front-end web development. I have also developed a love for clean and simple design, and I have become a devoted fan of valid web standards. I am a quick learner and am always enthusiastic about learning new skills in the world of design. I look forward to expanding my abilities and building a stronger portfolio as the years progress.
